Hiki No
On Monday February 28, at 5 PM, Kawananakoa Middle school will be part of the premire broadcast of Hiki No on PBS (channel 10, digital cable channel 90, HD channel 1010). It will be the first student produced newscast in the nation. Encoresscheduled for Mondays @ 5 pm, Tuesdays @ 12:30 pm, Fridays @ 9:30 pm, Saturdays @12:30 pm, and Sundays @ 3:00 pm. Hiki Nō programs will also be available at: www.pbshawaii.org/hikino

clean up time out
KMS student Tiffany takes a break during the Sandy Beach clean up. On Saturday, February 19th, students and staff helped our community by volunteering to pick up trash at the beach. This activity is done every year. Bags of trash are filled each time.

Trash to....
What could this bucket of trash become? The environmental club can turn what would normally be thrown into the trash and landfill into something useful and helpful to our environment. It doesn't happen instantly.
